School Times and Term Dates

The morning Tutor session begins at 08:30.
Therefore, we encourage all students to be on the Academy site no later than 08:25.
Students who arrive after 08:30 must report to the Attendance Office and will be given a late attendance mark.
The legal AM registration mark closes at 09:00.
The school day ends at 15:05.
Beacon Academy offers 33 hours of weekly learning.

We are currently planning for Year 7 and 11 to return on Friday, 5th September, and all other year groups on Monday, 8th September. However, these dates are provisional and depend on the completion of our move to the new building. We have two possible moving dates scheduled. If our move goes ahead as planned, Year 7 and 11 will return on the 5th, and all other year groups on the 8th. However, if there are any delays with the move, Year 7 and 11 will return on Wednesday, 3rd September, and all other year groups on Thursday, 4th September. We understand that holiday planning is important, so we wanted to give you as much notice as possible. Please do not book travel that includes the period between 3rd September and the 5th of September until we can confirm the final return dates. We will do so as soon as we are able.
