Ofsted

Our school was last inspected in March 2026

We are incredibly proud to share the findings from our recent Ofsted monitoring inspection, conducted on 24 March 2026. This visit was a significant moment for Beacon Academy, and the resulting report confirms what we see in our corridors every day: a profound and positive shift in our school culture.

The inspectors noted that leaders and trustees are taking decisive, effective action, resulting in a “tangible impact” on both the pupil experience and staff morale. While our official designation cannot change until a full inspection, this report serves as a vital stepping stone. It validates that we are on the right path, but we view this as a milestone on our journey—not the final destination.

The success of this visit was made possible by the people who make up our community. We are immensely proud of our staff and students who consistently do the right things every day. Their conduct during the monitoring visit was nothing short of fabulous, showcasing the hard work and dedication that has become the standard at Beacon.

Furthermore, we want to recognise the growing partnership between the school and you, our parents and carers. Real change is only possible when we work together, and your support has been a cornerstone of the progress we have made so far.

While we are celebrating these successes, we remain far from complacent. Our focus remains steadfast: building on this momentum to deliver a high-quality curriculum and ensuring that the improvements in teaching lead to higher achievement for every pupil.

We are committed to continuing to rebuild the pride and confidence of our wider community. We want Beacon Academy to be more than just a school; we want it to be a place of belonging where every student thrives.

Thank you for your continued support, your feedback, and your belief in our vision. We are excited to continue this journey with you.
